Moose Pillow

A co-worker has a 2 year old boy that comes to visit somtimes. When he was here last, I traced his hands and a foot to make his mom a special present. I embroidered this little moose, framed it in, and using this link, made this pillow for her couch. I'm looking forward to doing these for grandkids some day. When I was going through the Christmas stuff I've collected over the years, I found the fun foam ones my kids did when they were small. I'm hoping this pillow will hold up much better.

I did put buttons on the back to keep it from gaping open, but it fit so well I probably wouldn't have had to do that.
I just used computer paper to trace his hands and foot separately. I laid a clean sheet of computer paper over that to retrace it all as a moose, then transferred it to my beige fabric.
It was worth it all to see the joy on Carrie's face when I gave it to her. I hope this post brings you a little inspiration and Joy this Season.

I am so SLOW! I didn't realize it was hands and a foot until I read... Guess my day was longer than I thought! Very cute.
