I figured since we were having such a big snowfall yesterday, that maybe I could finish this. I only started it way back in November!
It's a good thing I'm caught up with Amanda Jean, cause it's gona take awhile to get all these 2.5 inch blocks cut out. I did this stack from a charm pack. It was nice because I just quartered them. That took care of about 146 of the 430 total she says we'll need... I don't want to deviated from her directions. I'm so grateful to her for taking on this quilt a long.
I'm going to try to keep them in piles by color so I can mix and match a little better when I start the border.

Good for you on getting started on those 430 - it's quite a job!! I'm kinda glad that I'm not tackling that one!
well, hurray for charm packs!!! that should make things easier. I am on day 2 of working on the borders and I am finally over the hump. I keep telling myself that it will be worth it. At least I am still loving my fabrics. that helps a ton.
thanks for quilting along with me. I am so glad that you are enjoying it so much!
You are way ahead of me I still have one block to piece for the quilt-a-long. Is that a wall hanging you are making, love the snowmen? I want to make something with snowmen on them for next winter.
I'll email you later about the sweater for the doll.
I started a quilt but I think I've only cut out 60 rectangles out of 365 or so that I need!! This is my first one and I'm having trouble staying motivated to cut! You're piles are my inspiration!!!
