Sew Mama Sew is posting a wealth of tutorials that are being submitted for a contest. This one from Vintage Threads caught my eye. I love the idea of recycling cards this way. Any applique on the front would be cute. I also really liked this bag and hope to make one soon. It's pure marketing genious to feed us all these wonderful ideas and to be such a resource for the sewing community.
These are a few other great tutorials/ideas I came across this week.
Great little cards from Craft Addictions
Cute, little butterfly paper clips at How About Orange.
Sew Take A Hike, made a crocheted bag with a link to the free pattern she based her bag on.
I'd like to thank Kristi and Lilly for playing along with the Pay It Forward. I'm looking forward to making them something nice.
This was taken this morning...Yep, it's
snowing again. In fact they closed schools around here today because we are expected to get 10".

We had snow this morning too...
I'm so hoping for no snow in our area. They are speculating it for tomorrow. Earlier today we hit 70 for a short while - then rain, now it's barely 50. :-(
Happy Friday, Marcia!!
soon enough (hopefully) there will be green and flowers popping up everywhere!
Love your blog finds this week - I have added some of them to my ever increasing list of projects I wish to do. I have a week off work soon during my kids school holidays so hope to have a productive time! Stay warm...
Thanks for playing along with Favorite Fridays!! It snowed here today as well. I am so tired of winter! :)
I have to remark that the snow IS beautiful, if not untimely and unnecessary. Spring surely will arrive soon...dare we hope? We have no snow but there's a big wind blowing colder air our way and I did hear those dreaded words "snow flurries" mentioned on the tv weather.
