Favorite Friday Blog Finds

I did get a hat done for "baby girl". I had planned to put more flowers on it, but like the simplicity of just the one rosebud.

Took a little break from knittting for some organizing. I bought some of the white, wire bins from a friend and organized all my stash by sock yarn, worsted, DK, novelty, etc. I love it! I emptied two bins into this. Now I can actually see what I have. (We're not even gonna talk about what is still under the bed...) The bags in front are projects I've started that need some finishing up...
Now on to the great idea, instructions found in blogland this week:

Fitted crib sheet tutorial, well done by Joanna at Star Dust Shoes. Be sure to check out the whole baby room that was done with the same fabric theme! OMG! It's cute! JCaroline commented/posted about this too.

Cowls are huge in the knitting community right now. Lots of patterns out there...an easy knit...a great gift. Craftapalooza listed several great links to patterns.

More in keeping with the Season, I found a great beach blanket idea from Martha.

I wish I'd had that sheet tutorial about three years ago! I just took my son's crib down... One down one to go.
