I used a fat quarter and cut two 6 1/2 " strips the length of the fat quarter.
I then folded that in half and layed it over the end of the pant leg.Using a pencil, I marked the line for my seam. I sewed this seam, trimmed it and folded my "tube" with wrong sides together.
This double folded "tube" was then pinned to the right side of the end of my pant leg.
Just sewed it on using my walking foot edge as a guide. Folded it back down and pressed.
One final little top stitch for a finished product. Love it! I felt pretty spiffy today in my new pedal pushers.

Love thoses - I need to try that!
I sent Penny this link to the fabric... I only had one little piece (fat quarter). I ordered more myself, I love how vintage it looks.
