Heatherhalesdesigns posted a tutorial for making a little girl skirt. She used a vintage sheet, but could easily be made from purchased fabric too. Adorable! Check it out here.
Found a free mitten pattern here. The designer request you to knit a pair for charity if you download the pattern.

Thanks for the links Marcia. I might try to make that skirt for my self just to wear around the house. I've been looking for an easy pattern that is quick to make.
