I just finished the best pair of slippers ever! I found the pattern on Ravelry as a free download. It's called the plain or flowery slipper....you can tell I'm not flowery... But, I did accent it with these great buttons. I tried a yoyo, but didn't like that either. 
This is how the slipper looks after knitting prior to sewing it together. It is a dense piece, which makes for a warm slipper. I'll be making alot more of these.

I'm going to have to give this pattern to my mom. I could use a few pair of these - I've worn out my last pair!

Great slippers and they are very warm and comfortable. Some women in my family used to knit a lot of those in the past.
The pattern doesn't come up on my computer and I must have this!! My brother had a pair tht he wore holes in and wants another and I think I can do this!!!
