My 19 year old son got home tonight. He was out in Redbluff CA, fighting wildfires for two weeks
This was "home" for the time he was there. They ate military rations and bathed in a creek.
That's my boy, the one on the far right! I was so pleased to see all of the pictures he took while out West. I wasn't really worried, but it sure is good to see him and know he is back home.

You should be proud! I come from a long line of firefighters, what a heroic career. I love the pic of him too. I also wanted to let you know I have the info up about the Vintage sheet swap on my blog if you are still interested.
That must have been quite an experience for him. What an adventure! I guess you are happy that he's back home safe.
